What is big data?
In order to influence future decisions, companies and organizations can use the information supplied by various digital sources. The large volume of data obtained is important for this method of predictive analytics. While only a fraction of what is collected is actually used to help shape these decisions, the sheer quantity of data that amounts to is adequate and insightful enough to make competitive, effective, advantageous decisions in a variety of industries and environments.
Big data is data that exceeds traditional database system processing capacity.
The data is too big, moves too fast, or doesn't fit the strictures of your database architectures. To gain value from this data, you need to choose an alternative method of processing it.
